The Superior Version by BlackSpiralDancer on June 23, 2011 Rating: 10/10 Ok, so the graphics are not as good as the PSX's, and i hear it also has a few levels that are not in the SNES one, but BIG DEAL! I was introduced to the series on the PSX, and i have to say, this is WAY BETTER, for one simple reason. No load times! Maps that take 1 hour on SNES take 2 and a half on PSX. That is reason enough. On to the actual game. Its a stategic battle game, but not turn based. There is a veritable plethora of units to use, which you set in squads to your own liking, and then use these squads to take over towns, battle your enemies squads, and eventually take over your enemies capital, and then on to the next stage! Its highly addictive, and can be challenging, yet fair. The graphics are awesome, featuring a very unique style, great animations, and fully realized terrain features. The music is not that varied, but is good none the less. If you like war games, DO NOT PASS ON THIS! |
